when my father and i are incharge of last minute wrapping projects,
it looks a little like this:
& to think this picture is better then what we do.
I mean we honestly just grab a piece of wrapping paper and tape it on the present.
or put it in a box without any wrapping paper, with a stick on bow.
sometimes we just leave it in the bag its in from the store & tape it shut.
then there is the often sighting of a what we call a "half wrap" where we actually attempted to make it look nice on one side, but then we look at it and realize it looks like a dog bit it and then got ran over by a mini van, so we lose all hope that it will look good, this results in the other side getting crumpled up in some odd way & secured with duct tape.
& then there is the "oh my gosh!! my friend just stopped by and gave me a present and i didnt wrap theirs yet!!" this is when you have to look like you cared a little bit, but sadly you just want to get it wrapped fast so you won't keep them waiting. This is when you dump out her present that they gave to you that was put nicely in a bag, replace your present to them with the present they just gave you. rip off the the "to and from tag" & give them the present. & if your lucky they wont notice that it is the exact same bag with a different present in there.
[thankfully it worked]
All i can say now is that i should probably learn to wrap soon. that way my future in the christmas bizz will not be ruined. But, hey im still young and have plently of time to learn.
now in my world:
Dance=Art
its simple.
so what else to do but get everyone off their butts,
crank some tunes & DANCE!!!
just dance :)
Yes, I made my whole class play "Just Dance"
as my presentation.
it will go down in history books as the
best.
presentation.
ever.
Part Two:
Here is another episode of
"Girl plus Broom"
this one dicloses nothing of any value.
absolute no sense.
& a smidge of insanity.
please enjoy.
and pradon my lack of focus.
i dont know exactly what was happening..
but apparently my escape plan will result in my death?
who knows.
i was rambling.
that happens a lot.
like i dont understand half the things i said.
& if i dont understand it...
i doubt you will.
work makes me a wee bit crazy
especially when you are really
the ONLY person in the new building.
its haunted.
i dont like it.
Have you ever been so bored that you can't think of anything to do?? i think we all have. but sadly i got to the point where i actually sat down & read the ingredients of a common item used daily in every household.
Hopefully...
Please try to guess what this item is:
drum roll please....
;lasewoiflewolgaiueknrlfpsadfdsafdsjojj
its shampoo.
uh yeah....
is half the stuff in there even safe??
i mean look at it.
most of the words are more than 13 letters long!
Methylochloroisothiazolinone.
is that even a word??
how do you pronounce it??
gah.
im concerned.
the only thing i know on there is water.
the rest is pure gibberish.
Challenge Time:
if you can honestly pronounce that word 2 paragraphs up,
wait a minute.
Sloppy Joes??
yes. SLOPPY JOES!!!
'tis a family tradition
to have anyone and everyone
over for sloppy joes on halloween night.
its not weird.
its unique.
Its Halloween.
[One of my personal favorite holidays.]
i mean whats better than knocking on a stangers door
& getting candy??
Free Candy!!
NOTHING!!!
This day was filled with much adventure.
Like i was the finale in an Elementary School Parade.
yeah thats right
the Finale!
Quote of the Day:
as the kindergarteners walked through the classroom wearing their costumes,
one looks to the another,
points at me,
and says,
"that's one big 5th grader."
Then i went Trick-r-Treating.
yes.
im old.
i know that.
but this time of year brings out the child in me.
I went to every house on my grandma's block.
twice.
now i have a hard time deciding things.
so.
my costume
or should i say costumeS.
were as follows:
School: Baseball player
After: Indian.
yeah there completely opposite things.
unless you think about it.
Indians.
Cleveland Indians.
Cleveland Indians are a baseball team.
therefore not a big difference.
Yesterday afternoon i found myself being kidnapped from my house by one of my best friends.
she was wearing sunglasses...
& a fake mustache.
this kinda stuff isnt out of the ordinary for this friendship,
it happens on a regular basis,
so i willingly accepted her kidnapping.
She tells me to close my eyes,
but with my inablility to keep from peeking i opted to shove my head in my indian bag, & pull the straps tight just to make sure i would resist the urge.
She drives to an "unknown location" & forces me out of the car.
she started leading me first by holding my arm,
that lead to my shoulder,
which lead to her arm around my neck,
then finally she had my secured into a tight head lock.
we were running around in circles it felt like.
(while this was happening a bunch of chinese people were watching intentively as if we were straight outta the loony bin. which isnt that far off sadly. )
it only made what i couldnt see about 18 times better!
Anywho,
after being drug around for a few minutes,
she attempts to pull the bag off my head,
nearly strangling me.
once it was off i saw in front of me i see a poster that says,
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY BAILEY!!"
(sorry about all the birthday stuff on my blog....)
I start smiling & brust out in uncontrolable laughter.
My really happy laughter.
i turn around & see two of my other really good friends sitting at a table,
with there sunglasses,
mustaches,
& no expression on their faces...
blank stares.
it was the greatest thing!
They provided my favorite meal,
Arby's :)
With my beverage of choice,
Sunny-D :)
We sat down & ate.
caught bees,
you know the usual.
I was given gifts from the best store EVER,
The $1 store :)
so you can prolly guess all the strange & unusual gifts i recieved.
Our adventures took us to Trafalga.
Where if you wear a mustache you get looked at like your the biggest idiot.
BUT we didnt care!
where we played mini-golf...
Badly...
Literally the balls would try to escape us on multiple occasions.
Where you dont want to stand 5 feet in front of a girl with a cub who wants to try & bounce the golf ball off of the walls around & make it land perfectly in the hole.
This will result in a ball to the forehead.
Not a pleasant feeling.
i speak from experience.
Where we make everything have a mustache.
Where you can watch your friend get beat-up by a little boy on the Merry-Go-Round, because the mustache he is wearing isnt real.
Where we enjoy a man in uniform.
Where a 3 liter Pineapple Pizzaz is shared.
Where many, many, MANY pictures are taken & friends become closer.
