when my father and i are incharge of last minute wrapping projects,
it looks a little like this:
& to think this picture is better then what we do.
I mean we honestly just grab a piece of wrapping paper and tape it on the present.
or put it in a box without any wrapping paper, with a stick on bow.
sometimes we just leave it in the bag its in from the store & tape it shut.
then there is the often sighting of a what we call a "half wrap" where we actually attempted to make it look nice on one side, but then we look at it and realize it looks like a dog bit it and then got ran over by a mini van, so we lose all hope that it will look good, this results in the other side getting crumpled up in some odd way & secured with duct tape.
& then there is the "oh my gosh!! my friend just stopped by and gave me a present and i didnt wrap theirs yet!!" this is when you have to look like you cared a little bit, but sadly you just want to get it wrapped fast so you won't keep them waiting. This is when you dump out her present that they gave to you that was put nicely in a bag, replace your present to them with the present they just gave you. rip off the the "to and from tag" & give them the present. & if your lucky they wont notice that it is the exact same bag with a different present in there.
[thankfully it worked]
All i can say now is that i should probably learn to wrap soon. that way my future in the christmas bizz will not be ruined. But, hey im still young and have plently of time to learn.
Merry Christmas Eve!! :)
